What Computing Clusters are Available from MGRID

[ Cluster chi.grid.umich.edu ]

24 Dual-processor 2.0GHz G5 (PowerPC 970) towers with 1 GB of PC3200 DDR SDRAM. running Darwin Kernel Version 7.5.0. The system bus is 1GHz. The network interface is gigabit. The drives are 150 GB ATA, running at 7200 rpm. Currently only 19 of 24 processors are available.

[ Cluster hypnos.engin.umich.edu ]

128 nodes of dual Athlon MP 2600+ CPUs. Each 2 CPU SMP node has 2GB of RAM. The nodes use Myrinet gigabit interconnect boards

[ Cluster morpheus.engin.umich.edu ]

67 nodes with 2 GBytes each, dual processor running RedHat Linux. Scratch Disk 500 GBytes

The AMD cluster is composed of 50 nodes of dual Athlon MP 1600+ CPUs running at 1400MHz, and 17 nodes of dual Athlon MP 2600+ CPUs running at 2275MHz. Each 2 CPU SMP node has 2GB of RAM on each node board. The SMPs use Myrinet gigabit interconnect boards.

12 nodes, dual processor 800Mhz with 756 MB Memory and local disk of 12 GB. Running Linux kernel linat02 2.4.26-UM
